Narnia's goal is to help strengthen the bond between human and dog by providing a common language. Narnia provides family pet training and behavior consultation and modification using positive reinforcement.

  • Member APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers)
  • Canine Good Citizen Evaluator
  • Red Cross Certified in Canine CPR

Experience

Behavior Consultant
2002 - Present
  • Evaluate pet's behavioral issues including separation anxiety, dog reactivity, leadership and aggression.
  • Create a customized behavior modification program for the client based on his or her personal needs.
  • Maintain a relationship with clients to guide them through their behavior modification program.
  • Provide guidance to the client on traditional and alternative treatment options.
  • Opens contact with the client's veterinarian to update the client's progress.
Classroom Instructor
1995 - Present
  • Work in a classroom setting or with individuals to provide instruction and consultations.
  • Teach a variety of classes from Puppy Kindergarten to Beyond Advanced. Demonstrate training techniques such as off, body blocking, sit, etc.
  • Coach clients in appropriate training methods.
  • Mentoring assistants.
  • Modify training techniques for special needs.
  • Address behavior issues.
  • Answer questions from clientele.
  • Make recommendations for training equipment and explain proper usage.
